Obviously I've left a few out that I don't think you'd be perfectly interested in so don't hold that against me. Looking through these lists thought it's apparent that 2 countries have given us more "quality" than the rest.

Not all brilliant films but the fact that someone had the idea to remake certain things (True Lies, Twelve Monkeys, A Fistful Of Dollars, The Magnificent Seven) means that the world was treated to a great story and some brilliant film making.
